Timing:
All participants will wear an electronic chip on their shoe. All chips must be returned after the event. A $30 fee will be charged for chips that are not returned.

Course:
Course will be sanctioned and certified by USATF and for Boston Marathon qualification. USATF insurance restrictions prohibit strollers/baby joggers, headsets, rollerblades/inline skates, and pets on the course.

Amenities:
All marathoners will receive the notoriety of being a marathon champion, a long sleeve T-shirt, unique finisher's medal, mylar blanket, at least 16 fluid stations, one gel station, course entertainment, post-race food & beverage, medical attention, massage therapy, and of course, spirited neighborhood crowds and hospitable volunteers. Certificates will be mailed post-race.
Awards:
The official clock will determine the Overall winners, while Age Division winners will be determined by Chip time. Awards are presented up to 5 deep in 5-year age division increments. Winners may only receive one cash award.

Walkers:
New this year: Marathon walkers will begin at 7 am behind all runners. Walkers will have 7 hours to complete the course. Course will be shut down on a graduated pace, approximately 16 minutes per mile after the official start.
Pace Team:
All marathon runners can run with a Pace Team.
