Large Crowds Expected for Family Day
More than 100 schools have registered for the Read, Right & Run Marathon® - close to a 50% increase over last year! We anticipate nearly 3,500 students at this year's Family Day events in Forest Park, not to mention the participants in the 5K, Mature Mile, and Children's Fun Runs. We recommend arriving early for an enjoyable race day in the park. Worried about parking? Take the MetroLink and exit at the Forest Park/DeBaliviere Station, located near this year's Start Line at Lindell and Cricket Fields.
To assist you in selection your "start position" for Sunday's events, there will be signs indicating approximate finish times (3:00 for the Marathon/ 1:30 for the Half Marathon, etc) in the Start Line Area. In addition, the Pace Teams will line up accordingly.
