The governor understands the important role good health plays in the quality of life for Missourians and encourages all to become physically active. Politics aside, it's now time to race against the governor and see how your team stacks up!

Local Leaders on the MOVE!

The Spirit of St. Louis Marathon & Family Fitness Weekend® has recently created a new feature: A CEO WELLNESS CAMPAIGN. The focus of the event is not to determine the fastest or the fittest CEO in the metropolitan area, but rather for CEO's, individually and collectively, to challenge the St. Louis community to get fit.

The Spirit of St. Louis Marathon aligns the passion and energy of runners with artists who will create large murals to serve as mile markers along the course. This unique theme introduces runners to the world's longest art gallery - 26.2 miles!

The St. Louis Marathon is currently looking for course entertainment. If you or a friend plays an instrument, sings in a band or has an unusual talent, give us a call. Participants often rely on additional energy created by the music to get them through the tough portions of the race. When was the last time you played to an audience of 12,000 people?

Join Our Training Runs

Need a little boost to your training - maybe bored or running alone? Need a change of pace or scenery? Three more training runs are coming up in Forest Park - March 3, 17 & 31. Starting at 7:30 am, we meet at the Visitor's Center, and everyone takes off at 8:00 am. Individuals are grouped according to distance and pace, so you may find a life-long training partner!
