News & Updates for October

Experience an Authentic St. Louis Weekend! - April 14 & 15, 2007

What could be better - running by historic landmarks and cultural attractions, including the Anheuser-Busch Brewery (check out the Clydesdales!), boarding a tram up the Gateway Arch, or watching the World Series Champions take on the Milwaukee Brewers on April 13, 14 and 15 in the new Busch Stadium? Combine these activities with the Marathon and you have one action-packed weekend!

Clocks at Every Mile!

In order to help you stay on your pace, race clocks will be positioned at every mile on the Marathon course. The clocks will be positioned 7 1/2' off the ground and stationed by our mile marker art banners. You won't be able to miss the art, the banners or the clocks!

Prize Money for the Half Marathon

Check out the addition of prize money for the Half Marathon. The overall top three male and top three female Half Marathon winners will receive cash prizes of $1,000, $500 and $250, respectively. Masters Division winners will also be recognized.

Step Up to the Start Line as a Volunteer!

If you're taking the year off or just looking to contribute your time or know a dynamite person who would be interested in volunteering, consider joining our 2007 team. We're currently looking for people to fill leadership and committee positions in Race Operations, Art & Sole Enhancement Projects, Course Entertainment, etc.
