The GO! St. Louis Marathon & Family Fitness weekend hosts thousands of runners and walkers who choose to make their Marathon, Half Marathon, Marathon Relay or 5K experience more meaningful by participating on behalf of a charitable cause. GO! for a Cause, the official charity training program of GO! St. Louis, provides an exciting and rewarding opportunity for individual participants to accomplish training goals, while at the same time, allowing non-profit organizations to raise funds and awareness for their cause.

GO! St. Louis Mile-by-Mile Marathon |

The GO! St. Louis Mile by Mile Marathon program is a corporate wellness initiative that encourages employees to get fit by walking or running one mile at a time over a six-week period, to complete a 26.2 mile marathon. The program works collaboratively with local companies to help motivate and engage employees to make fitness and nutrition part of their lives. Depending on a company’s goals, GO! St. Louis will create a specialized program that includes additional fitness activities or appearances from members of the GO! St. Louis faculty, which is comprised some of the area’s top fitness and nutrition experts.

GO! St. Louis is an organization that promotes and practices green-friendly living. We believe a healthy body works in parallel with a healthy planet, so we strive to provide programs and events that help reduce the carbon footprint of the event, while encouraging participants to make recycling and reusing a priority. A recent participant study indicated that 90% of our participants thought it was very or somewhat important that GO! St. Louis events were environmentally friendly.
